Installing Jeos

Installing Jeos is almost identical to a regular Ubuntu install.

Select English and press Enter

At the Ubuntu splash screen select Install and press Enter

Select English and press Enter

Select United States and press Enter

On detect keyword layout screen select No

Select USA and press Enter

Enter a hostname for the virtual appliance

Select timezone

Select Guided, use entire disk (LVM not recommended for virtual appliances)

Select disk and press Enter

Select Yes to write changes

Enter a name for the default user

Enter a username for the default user

Enter default password and once again to confirm

Press Enter to skip proxy settings

Select Yes for UTC

Press Enter to finish and reboot. At this point goto VM settings in workstation and disconnect the CDRom.
